Refund & Exchange Policy – Moonwash Yarn Co

At Moonwash Yarn Co, each skein is hand-dyed in small batches, making every piece unique. Please review our policy carefully before purchasing.

Returns & Exchanges
We accept returns and exchanges within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in original condition, and in their original packaging.

To initiate a return or exchange, please contact us with your order number.

Non-Returnable Items
Due to the nature of hand-dyed yarn, the following items are not eligible for return:
• Used or wound yarn
• Custom or special orders
• Sale or discounted items

Color Variations
Each skein is hand-dyed and may vary slightly in color. We do our best to photograph yarns accurately, but colors may appear differently depending on your screen. These natural variations are not considered defects. Pictures were taken with the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Due to the nature of hand-dyed yarn and certain dye pigments, some colorways—especially highly saturated or fluorescent tones—may release a small amount of excess dye during washing. While this is typically minimal, we recommend washing items separately in cool water to avoid any potential color transfer.

Knitting Recommendation
For larger projects, we recommend alternating skeins to ensure a more consistent color distribution.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 3 days of delivery with photos of the item and packaging. We will make it right.

Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or incorrect.

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, refunds will be issued to your original payment method. Please allow a few business days for processing.
